So, here is the second part of Jo's visit. The second half of her trip was just as fun and action-packed. But first we come home and relax a little after the excitement of Indiana.

The Amazing Flying Adik!!

We drove up to Canada during the second weekend of Jo's visit. It was both Victoria Day weekend and Auntie Vera's birthday that Monday! There was another family reunion, this time in London, ONT. The last reunion in Canada took place almost five years ago! This will be the first time the Canadian family gets to meet Yaya and Adik in person! Also the first time Yaya and Adik go to Michigan and Ontario. While Yaya has already been to Malaysia and has crossed international borders, this would be Adik's first foray into another country. I was going to say a "foreign land", but really, how foreign is Ontario, Canada? ;-)

The next day we headed to Auntie Vera's house for the cookout and get together.

We had a fun day with Auntie Vera and the rest of the family, it was good to see everyone and for Yaya and Adik to meet more family members. Hopefully it won't be another five years before we see everyone again! We got back home the night before Jo was leaving for England. We took this photo right before she left (the first time):

Long story short, Vin went back to collect Jo from the airport because her first flight was delayed long enough to miss her connection to Manchester. The next day Jo flew out with no hiccups. Thanks for coming to see us, Jo! Hopefully we will try to visit you at some point soon-ish. And we hope you come back and see us again soon! We all miss you! lil: definitely fun times! and yes, hopefully. although yaya did at one point say that “canada is in africa”.. hmmm bit off on the geography
